From the moment I met Anne and her son Shane, I had a good feeling that this was the right Company to handle the sale of my parents home and contents. Anne and Shane were very informative about A. Smith Auction & Realty and what they could accomplish in handling my parents Estate. All my questions were answered to my satisfaction and I decided on the spot to hire them and never regretted it.
The house had been vacant and had begun to deteriorate due to animals living inside. Much of it's contents of antiques and collectibles, were buried under layers of dirt, mold, insulation and “worse”. They worked several hot, sweaty, dirty days at the house to get it ready for auction. Their staff discovered items that the family didn’t know existed and cleaned them up prior to Auction.
They were very compassionate about the situation and made me feel at ease during an emotional time. The auction itself went very well!! The proceeds on the Real Estate and contents well beyond our family’s “guestimation” due to great marketing and presentation of the items auctioned.
